A short devotional by D. T. Powell
Lord, I have no words for this moment. But You’ve asked me to write it. Because I cannot do it, I must trust that You can. You’ve said in Your Word that if we lack wisdom, we can ask You, and You will give—not just a little, but in abundance.
I am not enough. And I never want to be. Because should I ever have the strength to walk alone, I would step out in pride, and I would fall. So, please, never let me be enough.
Grant me wisdom, to portray hurting hearts with honesty, impossible situations with clarity, and heavy subjects with grace. Give me eyes that see beyond this world and into the next, so that I may see those around me more clearly.
Take these words, however many or few they be, and bring them to the ones who need them. Use them to touch hearts and change minds for Your glory and purpose.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
